Seminary – Studies in Ministry
Eastern Mennonite Seminary, a division of EMU, offers these ministry studies degrees separately from, yet in collaboration with, the EMU Graduate and Professional School. EMS is an Anabaptist seminary affiliated with Mennonite Church USA and approved by The United Methodist Church to train leaders for ministry. EMS specializes in spiritual formation, biblical studies, peacebuilding and Anabaptist theology.
If you feel called to seminary, but aren’t sure if traditional ministries are for you, EMS is a wonderfully creative space where you can cultivate theological thought, while at the same time openly discerning your place in the field. Connections with the EMU Graduate and Professional School allow students to tailor their seminary training to fit their sense of call by including courses in all graduate programs into seminary curriculum.
