Theater - "Hickorydickory" by Marisa Wegrzyn

Where University Commons, 170, MainStage Theater

Duration 2 hours

This provocative, darkly comic and perfectly bonkers play about the “mortal clocks” embedded in people’s bodies (wait – you didn’t know about those?!) Most people have those tucked away behind the heart, undetected, but some – such as the melancholy high-schooler Dale – are unlucky enough to have them ticking in their brains, like a time bomb. Dale not only can hear her clock but can tell just by listening how much time she has left. A witty, bittersweet meditation on mortality.

Directed by EMU Associate Professor Heidi Winters Vogel

Intended Audience General Public
