How does faith inform your area of study (major/minor) or chosen profession? Students are encouraged to gather during the chapel time for focused conversations/interactions with faculty members of their major or minor. Staff members are encouraged to join one of the open to all sessions marked by * or take a break together for self-guided conversations on how faith informs your work, vocation or avocation.

Applied Social Sciences* Faith and Vocation: Reflections from our Alumni – Roselawn 306

Bible & Religion* – Practice lectio divina (Divine reading) on the theme of fear – UC President’s Reception Room

Business* – Two students who attended the Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) annual conference will share what they learned about the integration of faith and business, and how business ventures can help alleviate poverty. History – Join faculty for a free beverage-snack and converse about History and Vocation – Common Grounds

Language & Literature* – Love, Language, and God: Psalms in English and Spanish; informal conversations inspired by Ranier Maria Rilke’s Book of Hours – Roselawn Psychology lab/lounge—3rd floor, northeast

Music* – Hymn Sing in Lehman Auditorium Recital Hall (lower level)

Nursing* – Gather for a focus on grace – Martin Chapel

Sciences*(biology, chemistry, mathematical sciences and psychology) – Gather for a time of singing led by Daniel King (physics) followed by personal reflections on faith and vocation by Dee Weikle (computer science) and Greg Koop (psychology). Light refreshments will be shared. – SC104

VaCA-Theater* – Paulette Moore presents on her recent experience in Japan where she interacted with student filmmakers and storytellers on issues related to the environment and social justice – UC176
