Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" Speech

The Northeast Neighborhood Association will sponsor a gathering on Wednesday, August 28, for the 50th anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

Let’s celebrate and commemorate by gathering together on Court Square from 6-7 p.m. There will be readings from Dr. King’s speech, singing and special music.

Want to walk or bike? Meet in front of the main entrance of University Commons at 5 p.m. to walk or 5:30 p.m. to bike together.

Want to carpool? Meet in front of the main entrance of University Commons at 5:30 p.m. to carpool.
