The Walking Roots Band (formerly known as The Federation or The Fed
comprised of mainly EMU alumni) will be performing a concert entitled “A
Hymn Reclamation Concert,” at Community Mennonite on November 18th at 7:00
p.m. They will play some of their “reclaimed hymns,” which is the pairing
of ancient texts and hymns that have been forgotten with folk/American
roots music in an attempt to breath new life into songs of the church that
have been forgotten.

They will also perform other original songs and as always, a folk-rap or two.
Come share a Sunday evening of music! Admission is free, and a free-will
offering will be taken.
