This two-day event is the second leg of a week-long training session in Scriptural Reasoning. Scriptural Reasoning is practiced by members of the three Abrahamic faiths – Judaism, Christianity and Islam, who meet to read and discuss passages of scripture around specific themes. This year’s theme is, The Music of Scripture. The training began on Sunday at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and on Thursday will move to George Mason University in Fairfax.
