"Weaving Life" - Interfaith Film

This documentary explores the life, work and tragic death of Daniel Terry, long-time aid worker in Afghanistan. Terry was one of 10 killed during the massacre of a medical team he had accompanied to a remote area. Filmed and produced by students from EMU’s Spring 2012 Documentary Production class taught by Paulette Moore, this video will be shown on ABC affiliate stations this fall.
Members of the production crew will be present for discussion following the film.
A tandem event will feature a book signing by Jonathan Larson’s new release, Making Friends Among the Taliban.(http://store.mennomedia.org/Making-Friends-among-the-Taliban-P1296.aspx) Larson was a close friend and co-worker of Daniel Terry.
The public is invited to attend this free movie which is jointly sponsored by EMU’s Center for Interfaith Engagement and Menno Media.
