Entry assessments for EMU teacher education program

Entry assessments for admission to Eastern Mennonite University’s teacher education program are outlined in the 2014 licensure and program exam requirements PDF.

Assessments include minimum scores on the Virginia Communication and Literacy Assessment and a basic skills assessment that can be met with minimum passing scores on the SAT, ACT, or Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators (Reading, Writing, and Mathematics) tests.

Praxis testing information and preparation materials are available in the education department office.

Praxis II and RVE Requirements
