Valentine’s Day
February 13th, 2008
There are many things going on this week. First of all, there is Spiritual Life Week - a week filled with spiritual experiences intended to help you grow. Now onto the more publicized, Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day has been somewhat ‘marketed’ with brownies and carnations that can be sent to your friends for 50 cents or a dollar, respectively. The 1st carnation that you send is free, so I definitely took advantage of it. Other activities available are hall activities (or at least my hall is doing something) and the CAC movie Enchanted that is showing on both Friday and Saturday. I personally think that I will be spending time with my friends on Valentine’s Day, since all but 4 of us are single.
Another Notable event is the opening night of Cabaret which is tomorrow! It is a somewhat risky musical about the Nazi development in Germany in the 1920s… If you would like to see more info the following site can help you out: http://www.emu.edu/news/index.php/1603/theater
I hope all of my readers have a wonderful Valentines day and week!
