David and Marie Works suffered the ultimate loss when their two daughters were killed at the hands of a gunman in their Colorado Church parking lot in Dec. 2007.  At the time, David remembered  a training experience at EMU where he learned about the cycle of violence. He chose then not to pursue revenge for his daughters’ murders, but to work toward reconciliation and healing.
